Other Options:

As we all grieve the loss of joining together in community at Mass this weekend, let us take a moment to unite ourselves in prayer with all our brothers and sisters in Christ who are homebound, hospitalized, or otherwise unable to go to a church on any Sunday. Also, let us unite in prayer for those suffering from the virus and those who have lost loved ones due to the flu.

Finally, let us join Saint Clare this weekend. She is the patron saint of TV because she was able to view the Holy Mass on the wall of her cell before TVs were ever invented. Thank God we have ways to view Mass this Sunday! Saint Clare, please pray for us that we may more fully appreciate every Mass and unite ourselves more closely to God in this time of deprivation.
